Step 01Jewelry Design
The project begins with a sketch, reference image, product idea, or existing sample supplied by the buyer.
Follow the 18 key production and quality-control steps that move a custom jewelry project from design development to finished products ready for shipment.
Step 01The project begins with a sketch, reference image, product idea, or existing sample supplied by the buyer.
Step 02The design is converted into a detailed CAD model to review its dimensions, proportions, stone positions, and structure.
Step 03The approved CAD design is prepared for mold making, wax development, and the next production stage.
Step 04The approved design is translated into a wax model and refined to confirm its shape, details, and casting readiness.
Step 05The prepared wax model is converted into a metal jewelry component through the selected casting process.
Step 06Cast components receive initial machine polishing to remove rough surfaces and prepare them for detailed metal finishing.
Step 07Cast components are checked for deformation, cracks, incomplete areas, porosity, and visible structural defects.
Step 08Excess metal and casting marks are removed before each component is shaped and prepared for further production.
Step 09Prepared components are inspected for shape, dimensions, joints, edges, and overall surface condition.
Step 10Stones are selected and matched according to the approved size, shape, color, and product specification.
Step 11Selected stones are carefully positioned and secured according to the approved setting design.
Step 12The setting is checked for stone security, alignment, spacing, matching, and visible tool marks.
Step 13Jewelry surfaces are refined to remove marks and achieve the approved polished, matte, brushed, or textured appearance.
Step 14Polished pieces are inspected for scratches, uneven surfaces, damaged edges, and lost design details.
Step 15The approved plating or surface treatment is applied to create the required color and final appearance.
Step 16Plated jewelry is checked for color consistency, complete coverage, surface marks, and finish uniformity.
Step 17Finished jewelry is reviewed for appearance, dimensions, function, stone security, finish, and overall consistency.
Step 18Approved products are counted, individually protected, labeled, packed, and prepared for shipment.
